This project was essentially a cabinet remodel, turning a padded window seat into a desk with storage underneath. The orginial cabinet was removed, and, using as much of the existing cabinet parts as possible, an under-desk storage cabinet was added, as well as a triangular bookshelf under the window. Because the HVAC system intake was designed to draw air from underneath the cabinet, a new vent cover needed to be designed and fitted under the desk.
